Rock Elm is an Information Technology services and Project Management firm that was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.   Since our inception, we have focused on delivering real value for our clients.  We believe each client and each engagement is unique.   While we do value standardized approaches and best practices, we believe success is often found when the practitioners know when to apply an approach and when to deviate.

Similarly, we believe each person is truly unique.   Each person brings their unique background to our company and our clients. We seek to understand each individuals talents and desires, set them on a path to grow, and match those talents with the needs of our clients.

Our leadership team has over four decades of experience, with nearly two decades of experience working for large (Big 5) firms and the remainder working for small and mid-sized companies.   In building Rock Elm, we have sought to bring the best aspects from all of these companies into our company.   From our small company experience, we have retained a lean and agile mindset with employees having easy and direct access to leadership.   From our large company experience, we have implemented high-quality compensation packages, a focus on employee growth, and a disciplined approach to service delivery.
